(More customer reviews)I love having a house cat but I hate the smell of the potty box and walking over the grit that is tracked out. On top of that, ordinary kitty litter is heavy to carry home and dispose of. How many times has the bag developed a hole from your cat's claws and you've spilled the nasty smelly stuff on your floor? If you're older, ordinary litter is a pain (literally--in the back). The Breeze system solves the problem of smell, tracking and weight. I don't know why it's so hard to find in my area such that I actually have to order it online. But whatever. . .it's worth it.
Breeze pellets are inert (that is they don't react to urine or feces). They don't clump or stay wet. Liquid waste filters down to the padded tray beneath and I simply scoop out the solid waste with the shovel or a bit of toilet paper. Since I keep the litter box in the bathroom, when I change pads, I sometimes take the pad tray out and rinse the whole unit (pellets and all) in the shower. (I just sit it in the shower and let it run a few minutes. But it's not something you have to do.) In this manner, I don't have to replace the pellets more than once a month. The pad needs to be replaced once a week--maybe more but it's simple, easy and quick to do. And pads don't cost much. If I can't find Breeze pads, I substitute puppy training pads.
Ultimately, I can't think of a more convenient kitty litter product or system. I highly recommend this product.
