(More customer reviews)Before I begin this review I think it is important to understand that I don't particularly like cats or clocks. That being said, this cat clock is simply extraordinary.
When you open Mr. Meow, its ornate craftsmanship immediately takes you to a time long past. It is a beautiful clock that only becomes more magnificent when batteries are inserted and it springs to life. Its long majestic tail sways away each second and can mesmerize even the most cynical clock critic. I currently have it proudly displayed in a conference room at my place of employment and have lost count of the compliments it has garnered. But do not think for a minute that this clock is only appropriate in a place of business because I have no doubt it would fit equally well in my home or in a house of prayer. It is truly versatile.
The only aspect of this product that is keeping it from being absolutely perfect was the coupon that accompanied it. After unpacking the clock and placing it on the wall, I was delighted to discover a "buy one get one free" wet cat food coupon in the bottom of the box. You can imagine my disappointment when I discovered that the coupon had expired several years earlier in 2006. I don't have a cat, but I do have an eye for savings and this expiration definitely temporarily soured my opinion of Mr. Meow. Fortunately that was all changed when the hour changed and I heard his sweet serenade engulf the room. I know that Mr. Meow will be an important part of my life for the rest of my days and I hope that everyone gets the opportunity to see this amazing clock in person at least once in their lives.
