Although she is of ferocious temperament (as the Vet and her assistants can validate), she has a most delicate stomach. Although she often tries to steal (huh!!) everyones' food, ONLY lamb based cat food (canned) will stay down.
Having found Natural Life Lamaderm at a very reasonable price (I was paying twice that much for specially formulated lamb-based canned cat foods in the past), I discovered that BBBT (as she is fond of being called) will happily absorb every last atom of this "delishus foodie!!" from her plate. Since she IS big-boned girlie who is on a vet-mandated diet, she only gets one can total per day (5.5 ounces), plus a few toothie treats as rewards for being halfway-good (I love her dearly, and certainly get more than my share of head-butts and a few rare kisses from her)
The texture of this food is smooth, with some veggies added, but the veggies themselves are wet and smooth enough to avoid the upchucking that ensued from other simlarly-formulated lamb-based-with veggies cat-food-brands in the past. She's been eating NaturalLife Lamaderm for at least 3 years now. Her coat is now silky (she came into my life as a skinny wiry-haired street urchin).
Nothing goes to waste in this food. Great job Natural Life!!
